About Us

Braveheart Animal Sanctuary is located on 67 picturesque acres at Honey Badger Hollow farm on the North Fork of Long Island, NY.

Our mission is to provide lifetime sanctuary and care for animals that are abused, abandoned, or otherwise in need of a forever home.

Our animals are a hodgepodge of fur, feathers, and scales. Some of our creatures include horses, alpacas, pigs, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, various reptiles and birds, and our resident cow Tsuki.

Animals come to us in a number of ways, such as: direct surrender by owners, auction, or secondary parties (i.e. other organizations, veterinary offices, or good samaritans)  who are seeking to remove animals from harmful situations or place those in need.

Here at the sanctuary we also value promoting the education of current and prospective animal owners in the interest of mitigating the need for rescue and sanctuary.
